Microwave Monolithics Incorporated (MMInc.) was founded in 1982 to supply innovative custom microwave components and subsystems to the Government and OEM community, and to perform the research and development necessary to remain at the forefront of this rapidly advancing technology. MMInc. has extensive experience in the design and implementation of a wide range of components and subsystems, particularly for those applications which are starved for prime power such as small satellites, portable (battery powered) equipment, remote, inaccessible equipment, and related applications.
In support of these applications, MMInc. has developed extremely high efficiency transmitters ranging from continuous to sporadic transmission rates, as well as micro-power receiver electronics which are essential for the majority of applications where the receiver must be “ON” virtually continuously. MMInc.’s Tri-Band Beacon for NASA’s Orion manned spacecraft for lunar operations and beyond is and TECCS™ system are prime examples of MMInc.’s advanced technology applied to demanding real world requirements.
The company occupies 24,000 sq. ft. in its production facility in Simi Valley, CA. This facility includes two clean rooms as well as design, and characterization laboratories, a screen room, and production area. MMInc.’s Quality Management System (QMS) is AS9100D and ISO9001 certified and meets all environmental laws and regulations of federal, California, and local governments.
