Safe Batteries
One of the most important features of the MicroPLB™ is that it’s safe, easy to carry, and can go with you wherever you go. That’s because the C/S certified battery pack is composed of the same type of lithium cells that is used in automatic cameras.
The battery pack is approved by the US DOT (Department of Transportation) for all commercial transportation, including commercial passenger aircraft. One can thus legally (and safely) carry the MicroPLB™ on one's person or in a carry-on luggage.
